  • Question:

Visualisation: How can I plot a horisontal 2D slice (extracted from a 3D dfsu file) in Plot Composer?

    Answer:

You must modify the third value in the custom block to change the properties of the file from a 3D file with one layer to a 2D file:

    1. Open the Data Utility dialog (MIKE Zero->Options->Data Utility...)
    2. Select the extracted dfsu file
    3. Select the 'Custom Blocks' entry and change the third value from 3 (for 3D) to 2 (for 2).
    4. Save the file
    5. Now Plot Composer will accept the file as a 2D file
