Question:
Visualisation: How can I plot a horisontal 2D slice (extracted from a 3D dfsu file) in Plot Composer?
Answer:You must modify the third value in the custom block to change the properties of the file from a 3D file with one layer to a 2D file:
- Open the Data Utility dialog (MIKE Zero->Options->Data Utility...)
- Select the extracted dfsu file
- Select the 'Custom Blocks' entry and change the third value from 3 (for 3D) to 2 (for 2).
- Save the file
- Now Plot Composer will accept the file as a 2D file
