Question:
On my Windows XP system, the license service does not start. When I try to launch “DHI License Administration”, it is stuck while displaying a splash screen saying “Obtaining system information”, “Loading License Server” or a similar message
Answer:This is likely due to the WMI component (Windows Management Instrumentation) of your Windows XP System being corrupted. This component is used by the MIKE by DHI License System to obtain necessary information on the system configuration, and must be operational for the software to be functional. To fix this, download the attached .zip file, unzip and run the enclosed windows batch file .
